Oh and finally, I think the Google friend connect gadget as well as the Navbar (Navigation bar) at the top of the blogger page have been hijacked, (through Google’s site also being hijacked) and infected with malicious code through Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack facilitated through Blogger gadgets and the Navbar. Also, what is the point of having multiple sign-in features on the blogs? This is just another feature that allows your blog to easily be hijacked. You are logging in with your credentials and suddenly getting logged out because someone else is logging in with the fake credentials they set up, of course, you wouldn’t know the difference if the multiple sign-in features look as though it is turned off.
What is the point of the starred favorites? A few weeks ago, I noticed my blog on a number of search results with starred entries. On closer inspection, a number of my posts were starred or added to favorites in my account area. These posts are more than likely the ones where the pictures were altered or malicious code injected into the site. Of course, the Google safe browsing tool shows the site to be clean, so I guess that is not something it picks up. Cross-site scripting is when malicious code or scripts from another website are installed on your website or blog and used to steal personal information and log-in credentials, facilitating blog identity theft.
Oh and I noticed that each time the Microsoft .NET framework stealthily installed itself to my browser then the computer would go haywire, the light on the hard disk flashing wildly. Looked in my browser to find some unwanted plug-ins automatically added probably from a browser update. I’ve noticed that my blog content is being duplicated in some instances, looks like some keyword thieves and black hat SEO criminals using blogs to get to page one on the search engines. Why don’t these thieves get their own quality content instead of stealing and lifting other people’s content? There are just too many damn thieves on the Internet.
Oh, and infected profile pictures are also a security risk to other blogs where comments are left with the infected profile picture in each post. Profile pictures are now disabled on my blogs. I swear blogging is getting tiresome and boring, it used to be such fun, but it’s really getting on my nerves now!
